Core Values

Service before Self: Jesus modeled this core value when He uttered, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many”. We are modeled to serve and as followers of Jesus, we are motivated by God’s love to serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

Glorify God: Christ must be at the centre of all activities we do. He gives the purpose, power, pattern, and programs of all behaviour and decisions.

Love one Another: We believe that genuine love of God and caring relationships are keys to the life of every endeavour.

Accountability: We believe it is important for us to be open with and dependent upon each other for support and prayer and that we must hold each other accountable to grow in our service and stewardship.

Partnering: We believe we are a part of the worldwide body of Christ and support great and diverse works of God throughout the world by partnering with the various organizations and other agencies.

Responsiveness: We are responsive to the life threatening emergencies where our involvement is needed and fitting.

Stewardship: We are faithful to the purpose for which resources are given and manage them in a manner that brings maximum benefit to our people we serve.

Community Welfare: We are called to relieve their suffering and to promote the transformation of their condition of life.

We value people: We regard all people as created and loved by God. We give priority to people before money, structure, and arrangement.

Teamwork: Our approach to work is firmly founded upon participatory action both at the organizational level and at community level.
