Needs Identified in Busukuma Sub-county in Uganda 1: Sponsoring needy Children: Unit Cost £10 0r 12 URO or $15 per Month (Needy children) 2: Supporting the Handicapped Children: They need School fees ( special School) , medical care, food, beddings, mosquito net, wears and transport. Unit Cost: £25 per Month (per Handicapped child) 3: The Need for Water (Borehole Installation) Hire a borehole drilling company to install 1 borehole per village; unit cost; £4500 Safe Water Access (Protection of Wells) Dig and Construct 25 protected wells for provision of safe water to the population... Unit cost £235 per well 4: Provision for Agricultural and Poultry Farming Provide poultry hens, Goats, Cows to young children and women who are taking care of orphans. Unit cost £10 per 2 hens, Unit cost £30 per Goat or a cow £150. 5: Youth Outreach through Sports Provide youths with football/netball and sports wears, we have 10 parishes teams. Unit cost. £310 per Team 6: Rural Women Support Generating income activities Mobilizing and supporting small groups with income generating activities (IGAs) through microfinance and small village Savings and Credit Corporations (SAACCOs). We aim to offer small and affordable loans to people called "a weapon against poverty and hunger".
